Terms & Conditions - Chommakh’bar

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Chommakh’bar website and booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking & Reservation

2.1 Reservation Process

All reservations are made through our online booking system. You must provide accurate and complete information. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking.

2.2 Deposit & Payment

A €200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation
Remaining balance must be paid 30 days before retreat start date
Multiple payment methods are accepted
All prices are in Euros unless otherwise stated

2.3 Confirmation

Your reservation is confirmed once we receive your deposit and complete booking information. A detailed confirmation email with retreat details will be provided.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation Timeline

More than 60 days before retreat: Full refund minus €50 administrative fee
31-60 days before retreat: 50% refund of paid amount
15-30 days before retreat: 25% refund of paid amount
Less than 15 days: No refund (deposit forfeited)

3.2 Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another person at no extra cost, provided written notice is given at least 30 days before the retreat start date.

3.3 Company Cancellations

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a retreat. Full refunds or transfers to another retreat date will be offered.

4. Requirements & Restrictions

4.1 Age Requirements

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Younger participants may be accepted with parental consent and guardian attendance (special arrangements required).

4.2 Health & Fitness

Participants engage in yoga and physical activities at their own risk
Inform instructors of any health conditions or injuries before activities begin
We are not liable for injuries resulting from failure to disclose health information
Pregnant participants should consult their doctor and inform instructors

4.3 Substance Policy

Alcohol, recreational drugs, and tobacco are prohibited during retreat periods. Violation may result in immediate removal without refund.

4.4 Conduct & Behavior

All participants agree to respectful, peaceful behavior. Chommakh’bar reserves the right to ask anyone to leave immediately if they violate this code, without refund.

5. Liability & Waiver

5.1 Assumption of Risk

Yoga, meditation, and wellness activities involve inherent risks. Participants engage in these activities at their own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages.

5.2 Medical Conditions

Chommakh’bar is not a medical facility. We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before attending. We are not responsible for medical emergencies or pre-existing conditions.

5.3 Limitation of Liability

Chommakh’bar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or retreat participation.

6. Privacy & Photography

6.1 Photography Policy

Photography may be permitted for personal use only. Professional or commercial photography requires written permission from Chommakh’bar.

6.2 Image Rights

By booking, you grant permission for retreat photos to be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing. Participants' faces will be protected/blurred in promotional materials if requested.

6.3 Data Collection

Personal information is collected for booking purposes only and will be kept confidential. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Chommakh’bar website, including text, images, and graphics, is protected by copyright. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Chommakh’bar is not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

9. Changes to Terms

Chommakh’bar reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
